Privacy Policy
Last updated 3 June 2026
At Ladies Laundry, your privacy matters as much as your laundry. This policy explains what information we collect through our mobile app and services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
Ladies Laundry (“Ladies Laundry”, “we”, “us”) is a laundry pickup, cleaning, and delivery service operating in the Sultanate of Oman. We are the party responsible for the personal data described in this policy. To reach us about privacy, see Contact us below.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name and mobile number (used to sign you in by one-time code), and email address if you provide one.
- Addresses — the pickup and delivery addresses you save, along with any access notes or building details you add.
- Orders — the items, services, preferences, and instructions for each order, and photos of items or itemised bills captured for your order.
- Support messages — anything you send us when you contact support.
Information we collect automatically
- Device & app data — device model, operating system and version, app version, language, and time-zone.
- Location — approximate location and, with your permission, precise location to find your nearest branch and enable doorstep pickup and delivery.
- Usage & diagnostics — how you interact with the app, and crash and performance data so we can fix problems.
- Identifiers — device and advertising identifiers used for security and to measure our marketing (see Advertising & tracking).
- Notifications — a push token so we can send order updates, if you allow notifications.
3. How we use your information
- Create and secure your account and sign you in.
- Schedule pickups and deliveries, route our drivers, and keep you updated on your order.
- Process your orders, prepare your bill, and run our loyalty and rewards program.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- Understand and improve our app and service.
- Measure how our marketing performs (see below).
4. Location data
We use your location to show the nearest branch and to collect from and deliver to your door. Precise location is only used with your permission, which you grant when you first use a location feature. You can turn it off at any time in your device settings — some features (like accurate doorstep delivery) may not work as well without it.
5. Advertising & tracking
We work with attribution and advertising partners — including AppsFlyer and ad networks such as Meta, Google, and TikTok — to understand which ads bring people to Ladies Laundry and to measure how our campaigns perform. This may involve your device’s advertising identifier.
On our website we use the Meta Pixel together with Meta’s Conversions API to measure how our Meta ads perform. This sets first-party cookies (such as _fbp and _fbc) and may share a hashed, irreversible version of identifiers like your phone number — along with technical data such as your IP address and browser type — with Meta for ad measurement. This is not enabled for signed-in staff.
- On iOS, we ask for your permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt. You can decline, and you can change your choice any time in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalisation, in your device settings.
We do not sell your personal data. Marketing measurement is limited to what is described here, and we honour your tracking choice.
6. Analytics & session replay
We use PostHog for product analytics and session replays that help us understand how the app is used and improve it. In replays, text you type and images are masked, so we do not see your sensitive content.
7. How we share your information
We share personal data only as needed, with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf under contract — for example cloud hosting and database (Supabase), analytics (PostHog), and messaging/notification providers.
- Attribution & advertising partners (AppsFlyer and the ad networks above), for the measurement described in section 5.
- Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
- A successor in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
8. How long we keep your data
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer where required for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.
When you delete your account, we remove your profile and personal details and delete your sign-in. We keep your past orders in anonymised form (without your name, contact, or address) for accounting and record-keeping, and we retain a minimal non-identifying token so that one-time signup offers cannot be claimed again by deleting and re-registering. That token contains no personal data.
9. Your choices & rights
In line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Sultanate of Oman (Royal Decree 6/2022), you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing.
- Delete your account — from within the app, or by emailing us at support@ladieslaundry.com.
- Marketing — opt out of promotional messages at any time.
- Permissions — manage location, notifications, and tracking in your device settings.
10. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access, and reputable infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your information and to respond quickly if an issue arises.
11. Children
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12. International processing
Some of our providers process data on servers outside the Sultanate of Oman. Where that happens, we take steps so your data continues to be protected consistently with this policy and applicable law.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide notice in the app.
